These spaces are for people who want to reconnect with themselves, and relate to their creative passions, purpose and pleasure.
For those who are ready to come into deeper relationship with what's actually happening inside of them.
You'll be guided embodied free writing, intuitive energetic movement and body practices rooted in somatic education as well as creative practices held in community that help you notice, feel, and express what's been held beneath the surface.
There is no pressure to perform or get it right. These are spaces rooted in permission- permission to move, to write, to feel, to express or to not have the words, to be exactly where you are.
Being in a non-judgmental space with others matters. There's something that opens when you're not doing it alone - when you can witness and be witnessed without needing to fix anything.
"Kelly Jo creates a space where creativity is gently awakened and the lost parts of yourself are lovingly invited back home. "
"My experience working with Kelly Jo was like a balm for the soul. She creates a nourishing, grounded, and soulful space — a space where creativity is gently awakened, and lost parts of yourself are lovingly invited back home. The container she holds feels warm, safe, grounding and entirely free of judgment. I especially loved how she wove embodiment practices into the experience. It helped me reconnect with forgotten parts of myself and inspired me to explore more — both within and beyond. It brought me into a profound and beautiful reconnection with my inner child. And after a long creative pause, I finally wrote a long essay — and, for the first time in a while, I feel genuinely excited to share more of my writing and wisdom with the world."

Every autumn, the world pulls inward. Roots go quiet underground, bulbs hold their shape in the dark, waiting. What if your creativity moves the same way?
This gathering is a bridge between what you cannot see and what you can- between light and dark held in equal measure as the season turns. For those ready to connect with creativity beyond the ego and the analytical mind and bring the mystery of the unseen into something real, practical and alive in the world above.
To awaken creative power we will under the new moon we will:
Move through Body Temple Dance, a guided, free-form, ecstatic movement practice set to music that works at the place where the emotional body meets the soul, the creative and the physical, expressing with the language of the body what words cannot.
Learn and practice embodied writing, writing from sensation rather than thought, bypassing the inner critic to drop into a deeper, more authentic place, using movement, breath, and feeling as the source material for what lands on the page
Explore dream images and symbols as raw creative fuel—not to interpret or explain them, but to be in relationship to them, met them and let them them move through us and feed what wants to be made
Witness and be witnessed, giving what arrives a way to cross over, held by community

"After a recent gathering facilitated by Kelly Jo , an idea I'd been carrying since I was 13-something I always thought of as a pipe dream- started coming alive. Beyond being a nourishing creative experience, it felt like the space Kelly Jo created was part of the catalyst that got things moving.."

"Kelly Jo created a space that gave permission to be creative, to be childlike, without shame. It meant everything.
As a mom I struggle to give myself permission to create and do things just for me. This was such a welcome opportunity. "

"Kelly Jo's intuitive approach to space holding and creative awakening leaves room for magic and the unexpected.
I promise you will transform."

Kelly Jo Lillian — Founder of Liberated Creative
Kelly Jo is a body based creative mentor and guide, writer, performance artist, and facilitator whose work centers creativity as a pathway back to the self. With over a decade in theater as a director and performer, she understands storytelling not as performance alone, but as a living process—one that allows people to access truth, expression, and connection in real time.
Her work bridges writing, creative practice, performance art, ritual theater, relational witnessing and body-based exploration.
She is trained by Adriana Rizzolo, in Body Temple dance, which is a free form guided intuitive movement practice that connects the emotional body and soul to the physical and creative. She also holds an ongoing experiential practice in Authentic Movement under the guidance of Gretchen Cohoon Blackmore.
Her approach is also shaped by the work of Julia Cameron, particularly the understanding that creativity requires both devotion and support to stay alive.

Before devoting herself fully to this work, Kelly Jo spent over a decade teaching special education. Through that experience she was trained in trauma informed practices grounded in social justice, and developed a foundation in deep listening and attunement- creating classroom communities and experiences where children felt safe enough to lead their learning, trust their voice, take risks and express what was true. Be fore devoting herself fully to this work,
Kelly Jo now leads group offerings, circles, courses and one one one sessions for people who feel disconnecting from their gifts and passions and want to return to themselves in a way that is honest, supported and sustainable. Guiding people to access their inner voice, reconnect with the body and take meaningful steps toward lives aligned with their gifts and in service to the collective.
